Our Mission
Rooted in the infallible and authoritative Word of God, our mission is to glorify the Triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, by proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ, making disciples of all nations, and fostering a redeemed community that reflects His holiness, love, and truth. We are committed to upholding the sacred institutions of marriage and the Church, nurturing spiritual growth through worship, teaching, and fellowship; equipping believers to live righteously and serve others. We await the glorious return of Christ, living faithfully in readiness for His eternal kingdom.
We believe in…
The Holy Scriptures
We believe the scriptures of the Old and New Testament are the full and complete Word of God. They are infallible and without error; useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness. The Bible is the foundational objective Truth, upon which the Church uses to operate and govern itself. The Word of God is supreme and authoritative over all earthly laws that oppose it. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; John 17:17; Hebrews 4:12; Nehemiah 8:8; I Peter 1:23-25; 2 Peter 1:3-4,21)
The Triune God
We believe in ONE true God, eternally existing in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Each person is fully and completely God, sharing the same divine nature, equal in power, glory, and eternity, yet there is only ONE God, not three. These three persons are distinct in their roles but united in their divinity and purpose, working together in creation, redemption, and the renewal of all things. The doctrine of the Trinity is the foundation of our worship and understanding of God’s nature, revealed through His Word. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 44:6; 1 Timothy 2:5; Matthew 3:16-17; Matthew 28:19; John 14:26; 2 Corinthians 13:14; John 15:26; 1 Peter 1:2; Ephesians 4:4-6)
God the Father
We believe in God the Father. He is all-powerful, all-knowing, all-present, and unchanging; perfect in mercy, holiness, justice, and love. He is the sovereign authority who directs, ordains and sustains all things by His providence. The Father initiates the divine plan of salvation, electing and drawing people to Himself, and saving them by the grace of Jesus Christ, His son. (John 6:27; 1 Corinthians 8:6; Ephesians 4:6; Genesis 1:1; John 6:44; Colossians 1:17; James 1:17; Psalm 139:1-4; Psalm 145:8-9; Isaiah 6:3; Deuteronomy 32:4; Ephesians 2:8-9)
God the Son
We believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who is the Word made flesh, fully God and fully man. He is the promised Messiah, born of a virgin, who became incarnate and lived a sinless life, fulfilling God’s perfect righteousness. He was crucified for our sins, died, and was raised on the third day, becoming the atoning sacrifice for humanity. He reigns at the Father’s right hand and will return to judge the living and the dead. Through His grace alone, we find salvation, trusting in Him as our Savior and Lord. (John 3:16; John 1:14; Colossians 2:9; Philippians 2:7-8; Isaiah 7:14; Hebrews 4:15; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; 1 John 2:2; Hebrews 1:3; Acts 1:11; Ephesians 2:8-9)
God the Holy Spirit
We believe in the Holy Spirit, co-equal with the Father and the Son. He convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He regenerates and indwells believers, sealing them for eternal life. The Holy Spirit sanctifies, producing spiritual fruit and transforming lives to reflect Christ’s character. He empowers believers with spiritual gifts for service and equips the Church for mission. He guides, teaches, and comforts, abiding with believers forever as the presence of God. (Acts 5:3-4; Matthew 28:19; John 16:8; Titus 3:5; Ephesians 1:13-14; Galatians 5:22-23; 1 Corinthians 12:4-7; Acts 1:8; John 16:13; John 14:16)
Humanity's Sin
We believe that humanity is created in God’s image but is sinful by nature and choice, falling short of His glory and breaking His commandments. Through Jesus Christ’s grace, those who believe in Him are saved, their sins atoned for by His sacrificial death. By His grace, believers are made holy, spared from God’s wrath, and reconciled to God for eternal life. (Genesis 1:27; Romans 3:23; 1 John 3:4; Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 5:8; 1 Peter 1:15-16; Romans 5:9-10)
Sovereign Grace
We believe that God, in His sovereign grace, elects individuals to salvation according to His eternal purpose and will. This divine calling is not based on human merit but on God’s mercy, to display His glory. Those whom He calls respond in faith, enabled by His Spirit, and are assured of eternal life in Christ. Through election, God secures His people for redemption, fulfilling His redemptive plan. (Ephesians 1:4-5; Romans 9:16; Ephesians 2:8; 1 Peter 1:3-5)
The Family Unit
We believe that marriage is a sacred institution created by God, not man, designed as a covenant between one man and one woman, as established in God’s created order. It reflects the profound mystery of Christ’s love for His Church, serving as a holy symbol of their union. Married Christians are called to be fruitful and raise children in faith, nurturing them as valuable blessings from God and to raise them in the training and instruction of the Lord. Through love, discipline, and mutual care, the family glorifies God, modeling His divine order and fostering spiritual growth. (Genesis 2:18-24; Matthew 19:4-6; Ephesians 5:25-32; Genesis 1:28; Psalm 127:3-5; 1 Timothy 5:14; Ephesians 6:1-4; Deuteronomy 6:6-7)
The Church
We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, called by God to be His redeemed community. Its mission is to proclaim the Gospel, make disciples of all nations, and serve others in love. The Church fosters worship, teaches God’s Word, and nurtures believers’ spiritual growth toward maturity in Christ. It upholds unity and fellowship, encouraging mutual edification among its members to the glory of God. (1 Corinthians 12:27; Galatians 5:13; Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 2:42; Ephesians 4:11-13)
Male Headship
We believe that God has ordained male headship in the church and family, entrusting men with leadership roles to reflect His divine order. Elders, as overseers of the church, are called to shepherd God’s people with humility and faithfulness. An elder must be above reproach, faithful to his wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not given to drunkenness, gentle, not quarrelsome, and free from the love of money, managing his household well. Through such leadership, the Church is edified for God’s glory. (Ephesians 5:23; 1 Timothy 3:1-2; Titus 1:6-9; 1 Peter 5:1-3)
The Sacred Ordinances
We believe that Communion and Baptism are sacred ordinances instituted by Jesus Christ for His Church. Baptism is a public declaration of faith, symbolizing the believer’s union with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. Communion is a holy remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice, where believers partake of the bread and cup, proclaiming His death and renewing their covenant with Him. Through these ordinances, believers obey Christ’s command, express their faith, and grow in unity with Him and His Church. (Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:3-4; Luke 22:19-20; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
Heaven and Hell
We believe that Heaven and Hell are real places, ordained by God’s holy decree. Heaven is the eternal home of the redeemed, where those saved by faith in Jesus Christ will dwell forever in joy, worship, and God’s presence. Hell is the place of eternal punishment, where the unrepentant face God’s righteous wrath for rejecting His salvation. Trusting in Christ alone secures eternal life in Heaven and delivers us from the judgment of Hell. (Matthew 25:46; Revelation 22:1-5; Revelation 20:15; Revelation 20:10; Revelation 21:8; Acts 16:31)
The Second Coming
We believe that Jesus Christ, having triumphed over sin and death through His resurrection and ascension, now reigns sovereignly from heaven over His church and creation during this present age. This is the symbolic “thousand years” in which Satan is restrained as the gospel advances. At the time known only to the Father, He will return visibly and gloriously to judge the living and the dead, consummate His eternal kingdom, and bring final victory over sin, death, and the devil. This immediately ushers in the resurrection, last judgment, and the new heavens and new earth where righteousness dwells. Believers are called to live in watchful readiness, faithfully awaiting His blessed appearing. (Acts 1:11; Matthew 24:36; Matthew 24:42–44; Titus 2:13; Revelation 11:15; Revelation 19:11–16; Revelation 20:1–6; Revelation 21:1–5)
Value of Life
We believe that human life, created in the image of God, is sacred and inherently valuable from conception to natural death. Abortion is never permissible, as it is the murder of a human life, violating God’s divine design. Likewise, for those who unjustly take human life, such as through murder, Scripture affirms that justice may demand their life in return; yet, as God is the author of life, He alone holds ultimate authority over the judgment of every soul. (Genesis 1:26-27; Psalm 139:13-14; Exodus 20:13; Genesis 9:6; Deuteronomy 32:39)
The Pursuit of Holiness
We believe that Christians are called to pursue holiness, reflecting God’s character in thought, word, and deed. Through obedience to God’s commands and love for others, believers honor Christ as Lord. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we strive for righteousness, producing spiritual fruit and growing in faith. We persevere in devotion, trusting God’s grace to sustain us in all trials, living for His glory. (1 Peter 1:15-16; John 14:15; John 13:34-35; Galatians 5:22-23; Hebrews 12:1-2)
