What Is a Home Church?
We are a body of Christ that meets in a home, just like the very first Christians did in the Book of Acts. We teach, pray, worship, encourage, and even share meals with one another. Our house church reflects the straightforward biblical pattern revealed to us in Scripture. These small gatherings foster deep relationship and active participation within the body. When & Where We Meet
WHEN: Every Sunday at 10:00AM
WHERE: 13676 Preciado Ave. Chino, CA 91710
Parking & Arrival
- Street parking is plentiful, you may use either side of the street.
- Look for the house with the black doors and the fish pond to the right of them.
- Ring the door bell and someone will let you in. It’s okay if you are late, we don’t mind, we are just glad you made it!
What to Expect on Sundays
- Pre-Service – Many of our members arrive 20-30 minutes early for fellowship, coffee, and treats. Feel free to do the same!
- Service Begins – Our service begins around 10:00AM. Our teaching elder will share Scripture to prepare us for God’s word.
- Music – Every morning we sing together as a body of Christ, giving God glory in adoration and praise. We currently do this through a pre-recorded playlist. The songs each week are communicated ahead of time so everyone is familiar with them and can participate.
- Sermon – After prayer and worship, our teaching elder will deliver the message. Our sermons typically last between 35-45 minutes.
- Communion – We partake in communion every week. Our elders will prepare and distribute the elements, then we will be led to take them together as a congregation.
- Prayer – Prayer is a big part of our gatherings. We will pray multiple times during the service, both to give God glory and to ask for His wisdom and blessings upon us.
- Post-Service – Although our service is over, many stay longer to have coffee, have discussion, ask questions, or simply just fellowship.
The whole service typically lasts around 1 hour and 10 minutes. Kids are fully included the whole time (more on that below).
What Should I Wear?
Come exactly as you are.
Jeans, shorts, hoodie, dress, Sunday best; whatever makes you comfortable. No one will judge what you’re wearing.
What About My Kids?
Kids are part of the family!
- They stay with us the whole time
- They hear the same teaching, can join in worship, and learn by watching real faith in action
- We often have simple activities or coloring for the younger ones that they can do while you are participating in the service
- If you feel your child is distracting, you may take them in the other room if needed. However, we aren’t strangers to young ones voicing up from time to time.
Will I Be Pressured?
Absolutely Not.
- Although there are certain moments where we ask the congregation to stand or sing, no one is required to
- You can stay completely anonymous if you wish (although we hope you’ll eventually let us know your name!)
- We’re just happy you are here
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to be a Christian already?
No, you do not. All our welcome to hear the Gospel preached.
How big is the group?
Usually an intimate setting of 10-15 people.
Will I be asked to give?
No. Giving is completely voluntary (2 Corinthians 9:7). We do not believe in the “tithe” that is commonly adopted in most churches. If you’d like to give, there are options that will be listed before and after service, or you can ask any of our elders.
What if I’m running late or can only stay for part of the service?
That is totally fine. Come whenever you can and leave when you need to.
We Look Forward To Seeing You
We understand entering someone’s home can feel uneasy. We pray that we’ve dispelled some of that with this information. All are truly welcome to join us on Sundays to give glory to our gracious God. If you have any particular questions or have special needs, please reach out via the “contact us” page or email answers@prf.church. We look forward to hearing from you and, God willing, we will see you soon!
